In keeping with Turf Valley's mission to extend the highest level of service to its guests and members, the resort features a resident Director of Golf, Nick Spinnato, who oversees all golf operations, including instruction as well as organizing tournament play, MGA events, ladies event and juniors events. Spinnato joined the Turf Valley team more than twelve years ago, but has been involved in all facets of golf since 1985. He attended Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC where he studied business administration with a concentration in professional golf management. Upon graduating he held various jobs at both public and private courses before coming to Turf Valley.

Rick Krebs, Director of Golf Instruction, was nominated "Teacher of the Year 2001" for the Mid-Atlantic region and has been with Turf Valley for 12 years. The success of the resort's golf lesson program is the direct result of Krebs' hard work, talent, and dedication to his profession. During his tenure at Turf Valley, he has pioneered programs for family instruction, high school coaches, women, juniors, corporations, and private instruction. Students range from beginners to professionals. To remain competitive in the golf field, Krebs has also attended several National PGA Teaching and Coaching Summits, constantly expanding his knowledge and technique as well as his teaching skills.
